James Wright
Inspector General James Wright is a life long Newarker that has dedicated his life to law enforcement working twenty years for the City of Newark’s Police Department serving ten of those years as a Homicide Detective and recently being promoted to the rank of Sergeant.  James Wright has handled hundreds of investigations that have put a halt to corruption schemes and thefts of services saving the City hundreds of thousands of dollars since becoming the City of Newark’s first Inspector General on August 2007.  James Wright is determined to work hard and remain dedicated as the Inspector General to ensure that the Honor and Integrity of the City of Newark is maintained.
